About the Role

As a Measurement Engineer, you have a central role in our operations where you are responsible for ensuring quality, accuracy, and reliability in our measurement processes. You work closely with production, quality, and technology and actively contribute to increased process understanding, stable flows, and continuous improvements. The role spans the entire measurement process – from identifying a measurement need to delivering, analyzing, and archiving results in a structured manner.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for measuring components, finished products, and tool parts using both hand measuring tools, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision systems, and other relevant measurement methods. You analyze measurement results, compile data, and deliver clear decision-making support to the organization.

You will also work on developing, documenting, and standardizing measurement methods and instructions, as well as ensuring that our measurement systems maintain high quality and stability over time. An important part of the role is also to be responsible for calibration, traceability, and maintenance of measuring equipment, as well as quality assuring fixtures and measurement processes.

In case of deviations, you support production and quality through analysis, root cause investigation, and improvement work. You actively participate in quality-related processes such as MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and FMEA, and contribute to establishing structures and systems that early capture variations and quality risks.

Your Profile

You have a post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, production technology, quality engineering, or equivalent, or long and relevant experience in measurement technology and quality. You possess a deep understanding of geometric measurement technology (GPS) according to ISO standards and have experience with CMM, vision systems, and form and position measurement.

You have good knowledge of calibration, traceability, and measurement uncertainty, as well as experience working with CAD drawings and tolerance interpretation. Experience with measurement and statistical programs such as PC-DMIS, Calypso, and Minitab is an advantage. If you have also worked in an IATF 16949 environment and understand customer-specific requirements, this is considered a significant advantage.
